Roman Catholics Worldwide Praying in Cemeteries to Free Souls From ‘ Purgatory’ November 1-8

Sorry Pagans, there is NO Purgatory! Only Heaven and Hell which is where your people are unless they are Born Again! 

As has been the custom for the past 50 years, Roman Catholics worldwide who pray at a cemetery between Nov. 1-8—and follow other requirements—are being offered a plenary indulgence to free their loved one from Purgatory and send their soul to Heaven. The practice has been said to be unbiblical for a number of reasons.

“ Purgatory is a travesty on the justice of God and a disgraceful fabrication that robs Christ Jesus of His glory and honor,” Mike Gendron of Proclaiming the Gospel Ministries in Plano, Texas told Christian News Network. “He alone satisfied divine justice, once and for all, by the perfect and finished sacrifice of Himself.”

“The fatal deception of Purgatory blinds Catholics from the glorious gospel of grace,” he said. “It is one of Satan’s many lies that keep his captives from knowing and trusting the sufficiency of Jesus Christ. It is Christ alone who will present us ‘faultless before the presence of His glory’ (Jude 24).”

THE ‘ALL SOULS OCTAVE’ 

“We can wield unimaginable power for the souls in purgatory during the week of All Souls Day, from Nov. 1-8,” wrote author Patti Armstrong in an article entitled “How to Help Free the Souls in Purgatory,” published by the National Catholic Register on Nov. 2. “If we visit a cemetery and pray for a soul in purgatory, they a can be released by us; one on every one of those days.”

Nov. 1 marked All Saints Day in the Roman Catholic Church, followed by All Souls Day, which began an octave in which adherents of the religion are offered—under certain requirements—a plenary, or complete, indulgence for a deceased loved one or friend. Pope Francis: ‘Nations Are Built by Migrants’

Nations do not build themselves, they “are built by migrants, just as migrants built Europe,” Pope Francis told a group of missionaries this week.

“Europe was not just born like that,” the pope told a delegation of Scalabrini missionaries in off-the-cuff remarks in the Vatican Monday. “Europe was made by many waves of migrants over the centuries.”

Using the example of the “caravan traveling from Honduras to the United States,” Francis said that migrants prefer to stick together, to move as a group rather than to go it alone like “free agents.” In this way, migrants form their own “communities.”

“I am the son of migrants,” the pope said, “and I remember in the post-war period — I was a boy of 10 or 12 years — when, where my father worked, Poles began to arrive to work, all migrants, and I remember how well they were received.”

“Argentina has this experience of welcoming, because there was work and it was also needed,” he said. “And Argentina — from my experience — is a cocktail of migratory waves.”

You have to teach others how to welcome the stranger, Francis said, “and give all the possibilities to the nations that have everything or enough” to welcome foreigners. Read more here

Church covered up priest’s abuse of 50 boys

FORT DODGE, Iowa (AP) — A Roman Catholic diocese acknowledged Wednesday that it concealed for decades a priest’s admission that he sexually abused dozens of Iowa boys — a silence that may have put other children in danger.

The Rev. Jerome Coyle, now 85, was stripped of his parish assignments in the 1980s but never defrocked. And it was not until this week, after The Associated Press inquired about him, that he was publicly identified by the church as an admitted pedophile, even though the Diocese of Sioux City had been aware of his conduct for 32 years.

The diocese recently helped Coyle move into a retirement home in Fort Dodge, Iowa, without informing administrators at the Catholic school across the street.

In 1986, Coyle reported his “history of sexual attraction to and contact with boys” to Sioux City’s bishop, revealing that he had victimized approximately 50 youngsters over a 20-year period while serving in several Iowa parishes , according to a private letter written in February by the diocese vicar general and obtained by the AP. Pope Told Michael Moore That Capitalism Is a Sin?

Michael Moore, the liberal film-maker, told “Late Night” with Seth Meyers that he met the pope two weeks ago and asked him about income inequality:

I went to the weekly audience, and then he asked to speak to me privately. It was an amazing moment, and I asked him if I could ask him a question. And he said, “Yes.”

And I said, “Do you believe that an economic system that benefits the few, the wealthy at the expense of the many is a sin?” And he said to me, “Si” in Italian. And I said, “So you believe capitalism, the kinda — the capitalism we have now is a sin?” He goes, “Yes, it is.” He said, “The poor must always come first.”

And then he grabbed my hand and he said, “Please, pray for me.” And I said, “I will, and please pray for me. And he said, “No, you have to make more movies.” And I’m like, “I just wanted a prayer.” He’s like, “No, you go back to — you go back work.” He has a sense of humor. Read more here

Jesuit Magazine Defends Ordaining Gay Men to the Priesthood

The Jesuit-run America magazine has weighed in on the debate regarding homosexuality and the Catholic priesthood, insisting that ordaining gay men does not increase the risk of clerical sex abuse.

In his October 22 article, titled “No, homosexuality is not a risk factor for the sexual abuse of children,” Thomas G. Plante contends that the idea that “banning homosexual men from the priesthood could prevent future victimization of children in the church” is “simply not true.”

In its official teaching, the Catholic Church says it “cannot admit to the seminary or to holy orders those who practice homosexuality, present deep-seated homosexual tendencies or support the so-called ‘gay culture.’”

The recent focus on homosexual men in the priesthood was fueled by revelations last summer of serial homosexual abuse of priests and seminarians by U.S. Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, as well as the report by a Pennsylvania grand jury on clerical sex abuse manifesting a conspicuous predominance of male victims by Catholic priests. Pope Francis Says Accusations Against Him Are an Attack on the Church

Sounds like typical Communist, Socialist, Democrat Rhetoric does it not?

Pope Francis said Saturday that recent accusations leveled against him for allegedly mishandling the case of serial homosexual abuser Cardinal Theodore McCarrick are really an attack against the Church itself.

In his final address to the synod of bishops — which he delivered off the cuff — the pope said that while the sons and daughters of the Church are all sinners, the Church herself is holy.

“Because of our sins, the great accuser takes advantage and roams about seeking someone to accuse, as we read in the first chapter of Job,” Francis said, apparently referring to the devil as well as those who play into his hands.

“Right now, he is accusing us forcefully, and this accusation becomes persecution as well,” he said. Read more spew here

Catholic Bishops Call for Urgent Action Against Climate Change

They have the masses hypnotized about Salvation, so why not the Fraud of this to keep the STUPID masses enslaved?

Six presidents of continental bishops’ conferences have signed an appeal calling on government leaders to take immediate action to overcome the “devastating effects of the climate crisis,” the Vatican reported Friday.

In their appeal, the bishops summon politicians to work towards an ambitious implementation of the Paris Climate Accord, which urges policies aimed at limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius. The prelates also throw their collective moral weight behind the upcoming U.N. climate change conference, to be held this December in Katowice, Poland (COP24).

The appeal was presented in Rome on Friday and signed by Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, president of the Council of Bishops’ Conferences of Europe; Cardinal Oswald Gracias, president of the Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences; Archbishop Jean-Claude Hollerich, president of the Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the European Union; Archbishop Gabriel Mbilingi, president of the Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar; Cardinal Ruben Salazar Gomez, president of the Latin American bishops’ council (CELAM); and Cardinal Jose Luis Lacunza Maestrojuan, president of the Latin American bishops’ council’s economic committee.

Conspicuous by their absence were the bishops of North America.

During the presentation of the text, Cardinal Gracias said that the Church cannot rest until “the Paris agreement is fulfilled, adhered to and followed up.” Read the rest of this foolishness here
