The Vatican is preparing for the Pope’s resignation in February 2019 and US Bishops are disgusted!
The Vatican is under profound scrutiny and criticism after Monday’s shock announcement that they requested the U.S. Catholic Bishops to delay voting on new standards for survivors of sexual abuse and bishop accountability. The US Bishops, who were attending the fall meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, were indeed surprised by the decision, and expressed a mixture of disappointment, acceptance, and frustration about the news. Angry victims and activists fromBishopAccountability.org, which compiles data on clergy abuse in the church, were present in Baltimore outside the hotel where the Conference of US Catholic Bishops took place, and became increasingly frustrated, some shouting in despair that this was “totally unacceptable!!”
Meanwhile, on Monday morning, two survivors of clerical sexual abuse spoke to the US Conference of Catholic Bishops about their own personal experiences and their hopes for the future of the Church. One survivor, Luis Torres, even asked the US bishops in a touching testimony, to make changes to ecclesial policies and culture that might ensure that sexual abuse or coercion by anyone in the Church, including bishops, is put to an end. “I ask,”he pled, “that you inspire me and our community to faith and hope through your courage and your action, which is needed right now. Not in three months. Not in six months. Yesterday.”
Yes, the victim said “yesterday”, not today, showing profound frustration, but Pope Francis doesn’t care about the victims of pedophilia, or the future of the Church in the United States, he really only cares about his own future. In September 2018, Pope Francis convened all the Episcopal Conferences worldwide for a general meeting to take place in Rome in February 2019, to discuss the prevention of abuse of minors and vulnerable adults. It seems the Argentinian Pope wants to impose his own view before leaving office, not tolerating any further interference from the US Catholic Bishops.
For this reason, Cardinal Daniel DiNardo, president of the US bishops’ conference, was forced to communicate with American bishops, telling them that they will not vote on the two key proposals which were expected to form the basis for the US Catholic Church’s response to the sexual abuse crisis. They will simply have to wait until February 2019, another delay to facilitate the ongoing cover-up of the many crimes committed in the US by the Catholic Church, involved, as we all know by now, in Satanism and sexual abuse of minors on a scale never seen before. Pope Francis Warns: People Who Gossip Are ‘Terrorists’
Pope Francis said Wednesday that those who spread gossip are terrorists whose words are grenades that destroy other people’s reputations.
“Gossipers are killers,” the pope told the 20,000 pilgrims gathered in Saint Peter’s Square for his weekly audience. “They kill others because the tongue kills like a knife. Be careful!”
“A gossiper is a terrorist, because with his tongue he throws a bomb and then walks away, but that tossed bomb destroys the good name of others. Do not forget: to gossip is to kill,” he said. Read more here

Vatican Official: Migrants Can Teach Western Women How to ‘Be Feminine Mothers’
Migrant mothers can teach Western women “to be both a feminine woman and to be mothers,” because of their unique experience of motherhood, a Vatican official said this weekend.
Gabriella Gambino, one of the highest-ranking women in the Vatican Curia, said that mothers in Western countries often have difficulty being both “woman and mother,” while migrant mothers more easily integrate these different dimensions.
Migrant women “are a bit of a prototype of a motherhood completely different, a motherhood lived in its essence, in the feminine dimension,” Gambino said at a November 9 book presentation in Rome. Read more here
The Vatican has blocked a plan by Catholic leaders in America to confront child sexual abuse
Anne Barrett Doyle, co-director of BishopAccountability.org a group that compiles data on clergy abuse, called the last-minute order from the Vatican “truly incredible” adding that “What we see here is the Vatican again trying to suppress even modest progress by the U.S. bishops”
Life Site reports: United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) President Cardinal Daniel DiNardo informed the bishops of the request at the opening of the USCCB Fall General Assembly Monday in Baltimore. The meeting has been highly anticipated with the bishops’ plan to address the latest developments in the sex abuse scandal as a full body for the first time since the early days of the crisis in 2002.
“At the insistence of the Holy See we will not be voting on the two actions items in our documentation regarding the abuse crisis,” DiNardo said. “That is the standards of accountability for bishops and the special commission for receiving complaints against bishops.”
“The Holy See has asked that we delay voting on these so that our deliberations can inform and be informed by the global meeting of the conference presidents that the Holy Father has called for February 2019. Read more here
Pope Francis Protecting Pedophile Priests As Vatican Bars Action by U.S. Bishops On Sex-Abuse Reforms at Annual Conference
Roman Catholic bishops from around the nation have been ordered by the Vatican not to take any actions at their annual meeting to address the sex-abuse crisis that has rocked the church this year.
At the annual meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, they were all set to address the escalating crisis of one third of bishops in America covering up for pedophile priests. But before they could take any sort of action on that subject, the Vatican sent word that that were under no condition to discuss or act on it. You heard that correctly. Pope Francis banned the bishops from doing anything to address the very scandal that is about to collapse the entire foundation of sand that the Catholic Church is built on.

Pope Francis is doing his level best, by sheer virtue of his will, to somehow make the entire Catholic priest pedophile sex scandal pop like a soap bubble and disappear into thin air, never to be seen or heard from again. But someone should tell the pope that, in spite of the impressive size of Vatican City, there are not nearly enough closets in which to hide the truth he so desperately wants to keep from view.
Vatican Bars Action by U.S. Bishops on Sex-Abuse Reforms at Conference
FROM THE WALL STREET JOURNAL: Cardinal Daniel DiNardo, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, announced the news in his opening remarks at the conference, surprising many attendees for whom the topic was a top concern.
The Vatican told Cardinal DiNardo about the directive only Sunday night, according to a bishop familiar with the situation. It demonstrates the continuing rift between Pope Francis and U.S. bishops over how to address the abuse crisis, the latest iteration of which began with an August report by the Pennsylvania attorney general documenting the abuse of more than 1,000 children by more than 300 priests.
The Vatican has insisted that any official actions on the sexual-abuse crisis will have to wait until a global summit on the issue planned for February, Cardinal DiNardo announced.
The cardinal added that he was “disappointed” not to be voting this week on reforms related to sex abuse. The Vatican declined to comment.
Earlier this year, the Vatican asked the bishops to cancel their annual conference in Baltimore and instead hold a retreat for spiritual reflection on sex abuse. The bishops refused and went ahead with the meeting anyhow, though they did schedule a spiritual retreat for January.
